At Regis, our staff continually seeks to fulfill the mission of Regis Middle School, built on a foundation of Faith, Service, Academic Excellence, and Character-Based Leadership. We offer a rigorous curriculum that not only prepares your child for their next grade but also looks ahead and prepares them for their next level -- high school.
We set the bar high for all of our students through alignment with Iowa Core Standards for literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, and 21st century skills. Regis offers a religion curriculum aligned to standards outlined by the Archdiocese of Dubuque and aligned to prepare students for Theology classes at Xavier High School. Students are challenged but are given opportunities to grow spiritually through preparing and planning weekly liturgies and prayer services.
Regis Middle School strives to provide the most technologically advanced materials to support high learning standards. All students receive iPads as a part of Regis’ 1:1 iPad initiative. The computer science classroom has a full set of Chromebook computers. Students explore circuits, robotics and programming in the computer science curriculum.
Regis Middle School utilizes PowerSchool (including PowerSchool Pro and PowerSchool Learning) as an education technology platform. PowerSchool Pro and PowerSchool Learning have a variety of uses for teachers, students, and parents including use as a grade book and a communication tool for daily updates on grades.
